Additional Ministry:  traveling world-wide to help train pastors/missionaries to the 10/40 window
Passions:  to preach/teach the word of God to the church so that the body of Christ is growing in maturity; to disciple younger men to be the next generation of leaders in the church; to partner with the international body of Christ in equipping church leaders; to be faithful in living for the kingdom until the Lord returns
Hobbies:  basketball, staying in shape, Louis L'Amour novels

  • B.A. in Pastoral Theology, Southeastern Bible College, 1983 MDiv, ThM (Old Testament) MA (Counseling), Grace Theological Seminary, 1988, 1988, 1989 *PhD (Theological Studies) Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, 1999
  • Ordained, General Association of Regular Baptists, 1988
  • 20+ years pastoral leadership, 15+ years teaching in the university
  • Varied experiences in counseling, missions, and administration.
