Tim Stranske
Family & Background:
My wife (Mary) and I have been married since 1973 and have three grown children: Tim, a chemistry teacher; Gail, an engineer (Married to Bill Hampsmire, an electrician); and Sarah, a nurse practitioner. I have served as a Christian school administrator for 28 years and worked at Biola part time for 7 years and full time since 2003. Mary and I enjoy going for walks together, reading and serving at Grace.
Education & Experience:
BA and teachers credential + MA from Biola University; Ph.D. from Claremont Graduate University. I have served in churches in various capacities including committees for finances, Christian education, missions, human resources, deacons, and Elder boards.
Long-term prayer requests:
- For us to continue to encourage and support our children as they pursue their walk with God.
- For opportunities to get to know our neighbors and be able to share Christ with them.
- To know how to best serve the Lord after we retire from paid employment--that is a very long-term request.
One Thing You Love:
Spending time with my wife in front of the fireplace.
One Thing You Hate:
Weeding.
