Bruce & Wendy Dower

Bruce and his wife Wendy are serving with Cadence International in Fayetteville, NC, to open their home up to American military personnel and their families.

He and Wendy first came to Cadence over 20 years ago to open up a home-away-from-home for military people overseas in which they could teach, disciple, and evangelize military singles and families out of their home.  God moved them into various leadership roles after that initial assignment in Okinawa, Japan but now they have the opportunity to serve in that capacity again.

2010 Recap:

"This is truly a full-orbed ministry as we have opportunities to help people grow in parenting, marital strength, discipleship, and study of God’s Word, all out of our home. We are rich in deep and meaningful relationships here. Our study through Acts this year was impactful. Wendy’s time with young moms and new Believers has been a real blessing to many gals. I’ve been encouraged by our Men’s group and a high school boys Bible study. Our kids, Bethany and Jonathan, are maturing in fresh ways, a real praise. We wouldn’t want to be doing anything else. We so love the people you’ve enabled us to serve here.  Thank you so, so much!" --The Dowers
