Don & Kathy Allen
Don & Kathy Allen serve with the Navigators at CSU Long Beach where they seek to proclaim the Gospel, mentor young Christians, prepare future leaders and lead lives that honor God and draw people to Him against the influence of our secular and increasingly ungodly culture. They also have shepherding responsibilities in the Navigator's Sunland region.
A key need right now is that God would be at work in underclassmen to raise up a new generation of laborers and leaders to influence their peers. The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. (Matthew 9:37-38)
2010 Recap:
"Students have made commitments to follow Christ, and many students are growing in Christ and making steps to grow as laborers by reaching out to their friends, discipling others, or leading Bible-studies. (I Cor. 3:6,7) Three of the 2010 Long Beach grads have gone into a staff role with The Navigators. A goal we have is to see God raise up "laborers next door to everywhere" whether it is in the workplace, neighborhoods, families, etc." -- The Allens
