"For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God." — 2 Cor. 4:15

In Adult Bible Study (ABS), the Word of God is read, taught, and discussed so that we can grow in the discipline and instruction of our Lord.

Adult Bible Study meets on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. in upstairs room 204.

We invite you to come study with us!

NEW Summer Series! HYMNS – Celebrating the Beauty and Power of our Hymnal

We will be exploring the beauty, biblical imagery, theology, and significance of some of our favorite hymns. There will be a variety of teachers telling us about their favorite hymns, reading scripture, discussing, and, of course, singing. The series starts July 1st. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.” Colossians 3:16

Adult Bible Study will begin a detailed study of the Gospel of John on September 10th. John makes clear that his purpose for writing his account is that we “might come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God” and “have life in his name.”

If you are a believer, come and be strengthened by the word of God (and bring a wandering friend). If you have questions and doubts, come and learn who this Jesus really is. You may come to the same conclusion as the Apostle John, who while walking with Jesus as one of his disciples, found the life that is truly life.

Bruce Milne writes: “Simply put, in the paragraphs of John’s gospel the living Lord Jesus Christ is met in his glory and grace, his majesty and tenderness and his presence can be experienced as a perceptible reality in your life.”

We meet on Sunday at 9:30 a.m., in upstairs room 204.

This 13 week class will better equip believers to help others by learning the basics of biblical counseling. This course covers what biblical counseling is and gives direction to how Christians can counsel others with a biblical basis. We will also work through common issues addressed in biblical counseling such as marriage, family, parenting, relationships, and emotional and behavioral issues.

If you are a believer and are interested in learning how to better come-alongside and care for others while drawing from the truth of God’s Word, listen to the class recordings below!

This class is now over, but you can listen to the full audio and find class notes below.
