What We Are Learning
This year, the kids will learn about the gospel through the life of Paul and find out what it means to respond to God’s call to “saddle up” and follow Christ.
Theme Verse: Romans 1:16
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel,
for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.”
THEME: God is our creator and our sin separates us from him.
Paul’s thought he had done great things for God, but he had totally missed the point of his need for a Savior.
THEME: Jesus saves us by his grace, not by our righteousness.
Paul tells his conversion story and proclaims who Jesus is and what he did for us.
THEME: Jesus saves us and gives us new life.
Pauls tells about his ministry to the churches and his time in prison with Silas. The jailer is listening to Paul’s story and chooses to follow Christ.
THEME: Jesus has power over everything, so we can go to him in times of need.
Paul tells about the shipwreck. He talks about prayer and how he knew the heart of God in this difficult situation.
THEME: Jesus wants us to tell others about the good news of his salvation.
Paul explains his letters to the churches and encourages the kids to be bold and proclaim Jesus to others.
The preschool children will be learning to follow Jesus with your whole heart!
Theme Verse: Mark 12:30
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your
soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
Preschool Gospel Poem
God is in charge. My sin is large. Jesus died for you and me. So repent and believe.
God created a wonderful world where we can follow Jesus (Creation of the world and people)
Because of God’s faithfulness to us, we can follow Jesus (The Fall and Noah).
Jesus came to earth and showed us how to follow Him. (Jesus is born. The Wise Men follow the star to worship Jesus.)
When we follow Jesus, He saves us and gives us new life. (Jesus’ Death and Resurrection)
Jesus wants us to tell others about the good news of his salvation. (Paul and Silas in prison, The Jailer’s conversion)
Every year we partner with a missionary that our church supports to pray for their ministry and collect money for a specific need they have. Each night we collect a different type of coin. Encourage your child to do extra chores around the house this week to earn coins for this special project!
