"For it is all for your sake, so that as grace extends to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God." — 2 Cor. 4:15

Ways to Serve in Fullerton

Each of us in this body have been given so much grace! The Scriptures remind us to be good stewards of this grace. There are several ways that you can steward the grace you have been given through service to this body. Please prayerfully consider these opportunities listed below and see how God might want to use you and these opportunities to fulfill the goals of His grace among us.

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies – in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:10-11

Church Events Ministry

The La Mirada Campus currently does three major events a year.  An Easter Brunch on Easter Sunday morning, a 3rd of July Celebration the night before the 4th of July and an All Church Family Picnic in late September.  If you are interested in serving in an event ministry please contact Heather Grossman at (562)-713-2182 or Joe Grossman at (562)-335-0411.

Food Bank

Drivers: We need drivers available for a monthly rotation on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Drivers that are willing to be on call as a substitute for Target pickups on varying days are also needed, as well as drivers to take over a weekly pickup on Tuesday or Friday, once or twice a month. Driving also involves lifting medium weight boxes.

Volunteers: We always need volunteers to minister on Fridays. Our official time is from 4:00-6:00 pm, but we are usually there from 3:30-7:30 pm. If you are unable to come when we begin, we would love to have a group that arrives later and is willing to stay until 7:00-7:30 pm. At 6:00 pm, some volunteers need to leave and there are still those patiently waiting to be served. Assistance with the clean-up process is also welcome.
Please contact foodbankleaders@graceevfree.org or call Joe Grossman at (562) 335-0411.

Usher Ministry

We are looking for enthusiastic, service oriented individuals to become ushers. Short-term commitments are welcome.

Contact the church office at Fullerton@graceevfree.org or an usher on Sunday morning to get started.

Children’s Ministry

In order to ensure that every child hears the gospel and experiences the love of Jesus each week, we’re seeking additional volunteers to serve in all classrooms during our Sunday morning service.  If you’re interested in learning more about volunteering to serve families at Grace Fullerton, please contact our Children’s Ministry team at children@graceevfree.org

Sharing Grace

Sharing Grace strives to exemplify Christ as we seek to know and share the grace we have received to those in our surrounding area who would benefit from a meal. As we recognize we were all outcasts in need of a Savior, Sharing Grace wishes to share Jesus with those in need of our community. The first Sunday of every month, we meet in front of the church after second service to serve a meal and build relationships with the homeless and the hungry who live around Grace Fullerton.

There are several ways to get involved. You can help serve the meal, build relationships with those who attend, collect adult clothing to be distributed to those who attend, or help to cook a meal. If you would like to join us or for more information, please contact Vivian Greco at vivischvoogie@aol.com or 714-319-0480.

Emergency Response Team

The Emergency Response Team is seeking 10-15 good men and women to serve on its team.  Police officers, paramedics, EMTs, firemen, FBI, CIA, doctors, and nurses encouraged to respond.  No weekly commitment required. If you would like to serve in this way, please email the church office at info@graceevfree.org and let us know your name, contact information, and field of experience.

Sunday Morning Hospitality

People interested in being part of setting up the refreshment table before the service or interested in cleaning up the refreshment table afterwards, please contact Ron or Joyce Ulshafer at ulshafer@pobox.com or talk to one of us on Sunday morning.

  • Set up (9:00 a.m.) would involve making coffee, setting out supplies (creamer, napkins…) and setting out any treats that are provided.
  • Clean up (after 11:00 a.m.) would involve clearing the table, putting away supplies and washing up any dishes.
